Winners Announced for the 2023 Hometown Art Competition
We received so many outstanding entries in the 2023 Hometown Australia Art Competition that it was difficult to choose just one winner in each category.
There were three categories this year: the best artwork in each community, the best artwork in a region, and a national prize.
Queensland region winner - 'Kookaburra' -acrylic painting by Linda from Redlands
Sydney and South winner - 'Thirsty' by Beth from Rosetta. 'Thirsty' also received an award for the Best National artwork.
Hunter region winner - 'Meindee Dreaming' - oil painting by Irene at Homestead
North Coast region winner - Rocking Horse by Larry from Laurieton
