“Every year residents go above and beyond to create elaborate Christmas light displays, knowing the joy it brings to everyone who visits. Families, couples, and individuals alike are captivated by the twinkling lights and festive decorations. Children gaze in awe, while older visitors reminisce about cherished holiday memories, all united by the warmth and magic of the season,” said Jayne, Community Manager.

It was a double win for Sanctuary Lennox Head with their cheerful Christmas display at the front of their Community Centre. The display features a larger-than-life Santa and his friends, elf, reindeer and gingerbread man, along with a beautiful lights display that can be seen twinkling every night throughout December.
Separate to the competition you can view the stunning video of the Sanctuary Lennox Head community lighting up the night sky throughout December with residents taking part in the festive fun. “For over 25 years, residents have taken immense pride in transforming their homes into dazzling displays of holiday cheer, delighting thousands of visitors both young and old, who come to experience the magic. A cherished tradition in our community is Santa and his sleigh, ready to greet excited children as they explore the festive wonderland,” said Jayne, Community Manager.
Not only does Christmas tradition bring happiness to the community, but it also serves a greater purpose. “Visitors to the community generously donate to support local charities, making this celebration a true testament to the spirit of giving. From caroler’s serenading on the verandas to minstrels strolling through the streets, the festive atmosphere extends beyond individual homes, creating a communal sense of joy and wonder. Our community as a whole is a shining example of holiday spirit, with every resident in one way or another, contributing to an unforgettable experience for all who stop by,” concluded Jayne.
See the magic that is Sanctuary Lennox Head in December!
