Loving Life in Laurieton

Laurieton is located on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW, Laurieton. Homeowners living in Laurieton enjoy first-class amenities including a beautiful swimming pool, gym and wellness centre, lawn bowls green, community centre, library and clubhouse. Carefully planned landscaping has also created lovely areas for walks in the community and direct access to Queens Lake.

There is something for everyone at Laurieton. We spoke with a couple of homeowners about what they enjoy most about living in this stunning land lease community.

One homeowner, Jean, explained what makes Laurieton special to her. “I love the atmosphere we live in, surrounded by bush and seeing the kangaroos every day. It is a very friendly village and if you’re not feeling well there’s always someone who’ll offer to collect shopping for you or look after your dog.”

Jean’s weeks are busy, playing card games in the Lounge Room, tap dancing, yoga, and Pilates. She also enjoys going to Social Club functions in the community and enjoys the quality community facilities saying, “I use the indoor pool and have used the bowling green. I visit the clubhouse for cards, exercise classes and happy hour. I also love going for a coffee and a chat at our coffee bar. I joined a team in the Pub Games earlier in the year, which was great fun. I loved the atmosphere and watching everyone having a great time.”

Mark and Karen also enjoy the social life at Laurieton. “We’ve made so many wonderful friends at Laurieton and we have a regular happy hour in our street which is always a great time. The way people pitch in to help one another is just wonderful.”

Mark also commented that they love the location of the community saying, “basic shopping is in walking distance which is great! The bush, the water, more shops, clubs, cafes are all close by.  And it’s not far to the hospital for comprehensive medical services, and larger shopping options when they are needed.”

Mark commented that, “We’ve used the pool, gym, bowling, the clubhouse for lots of social club functions and events and the movie theatre with family. It’s also a very pleasant walk around the streets in the community. We’ve also been on the walking trail which is great in all seasons.”
