Discovering One of Queensland’s Most Popular Downsizing Locations

For many years, Queensland has been recognised as an idyllic location for retirees seeking a sea change. When you consider the ‘almost’ all year-round sunny weather, relaxed lifestyle and affordable homes, Queensland can make for an appealing region to downsize to.

In the latest figures by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), Queensland gained 9,800 people from net interstate migration over the December 2020 quarter, which is more than any other state or territory in Australia. From these findings approximately 11% were aged 65 years or older. With some of the worlds most stunning beaches, a vast coastal line greeted by lush rainforests and beautiful outback countryside waiting to be explored – living a relaxed lifestyle in Queensland is made easy.
