Endurance was key throughout the Walk, Swim, Dance Across… The World Twice Competition with the competition spanning over three months. Communities showed their support to the teams by hosting monthly morning tea events to cheer on the group for their amazing efforts!

One team in particular, The Saunteres Walking Group from Seachange had a strong community support foundation with morning tea’s held each month to display the tracking poster and support the teams progress.

“Yesterday we had the last morning tea for our walking group – The Saunteres. This group have done a phenomenal job of completing 9,358,944 steps and walking for  111,416.00 minutes, all in their first year taking part in the competition! The group have walked from Goolwa to Adelaide, Adelaide to Perth, Perth to Katherine NT, Katherine NT to Davenport NT! An amazing effort from the group and a well deserved final morning tea to celebrate this amazing achievement. Well done Saunterers!” said Kerry Lange, Seachange Community Manager.
